Cedarstone Research is committed to acting honestly, fairly and in the best interests of its clients. This summary explains how we identify and manage conflicts of interest. The full policy is available on request.
Potential conflicts we have identified
- Remuneration we may receive from banking or liquidity partners when we arrange execution for clients.
- Personal dealing by staff in currencies or instruments covered by our research.
- Providing research to multiple clients who may have opposing interests.
- Receiving gifts or hospitality from partners or third parties.
How we manage them
- Disclosure: We tell clients how we are paid, including any remuneration from partners, before they proceed.
- Research independence: Research views are formed by our analysts and are not influenced by partner relationships or commercial considerations.
- Personal dealing: Staff are subject to personal account dealing rules, including restrictions around the publication of research.
- Fair dissemination: Research is made available to clients fairly and at the same time within each service level.
- Gifts and hospitality: We maintain a register and limits on gifts and hospitality.
- Oversight: Conflicts are recorded in a conflicts register and reviewed regularly.
Where we cannot manage a conflict sufficiently to protect your interests, we will tell you and may decline to act.
